Unfortunatelly even Apple has problems with their production line at these hard times.
The company has announced that they will have to limt their iPhone 13 productions from 90 million units to 80 million units.
The reason for this is the lack of some components.
Both companies Broadcom and Texas Instruments (TI) can't produce enough components. Apple buys some display chip parts from TI, while Broadcom is a longtime supplier of various wireless components. The main issue with TI has to do with a chip that powers the OLED display, but Apple is also facing component shortages from other suppliers.
All of this combined is creating a huge lost for Apple, however they are still working on creating as much models as possible.
