Google isn't giving up on their "console". The device is claimed to be even better than a typical gaming mashine, because you can have fun with Stadia on any display.
However that isn't true when it comes to the tv, where the device was greatly limited.
We know however that more tvs are coming with the support for the device.
The list looks like this right now:
Chromecast with Google TV
Hisense® Android Smart TVs (U7G, U8G, U9G)
Nvidia® Shield TV
Nvidia® Shield TV Pro
Onn™ FHD Streaming Stick and UHD Streaming Device
Philips® 8215, 8505, and OLED 935/805 Series Android TVs
Xiaomi® MIBOX3 and MIBOX4
That is not all. We also know that the company is working on adding even more devices.
If your TV is not on the list, you can still download the Stadia app and check if you can run the device, or wait for the necessery update.
